[Epic Santa]

Holy smokes! I was too busy during the holidays to check out your Santa piece but wow I can't believe I'm barely seeing this awesomeness! I like Santa's expression as if saying yeah I know I'm the ish. The quality and detail are amazing. I love the use of desaturated color; expertly executed. I tend to want to saturate my colors so I'm impressed with your piece. Not much to improve... I'm pretty much nit picking, but the presents seem too small for the perspective (unless he is gifting watches to world) which in that case nevermind. Great job!

Thanks! Very happy you liked the illustration. Good point on presents. I put more emphasis on them as an ammo.Wrapped up gift became more like an idea.

What an ambitious piece. I hate perspective but you nailed it. Makes me want to try it out. I like the way you textured your grimataur... that style reminds me of the cartoon show CHOWDER! The background could have used some detail. One trick I learned, if you want to save some time from detailing the background, is make it out of focus. Great job!

Thanks for the advice. I hate doing backgrounds but i feel art work needs to have it unless it looks too plain. I'll keep the focus tip in mind.
